operation left-over pulled pork was a delicious success. spent the rest of the night watching What Not to Wear and lounging about, which was nice since I do not get TLC at the apartment.
today has thus far involved a lot of lounging around as well. we meant to do things, but we only ended up going to Friendly's. I'm telling you, that place eats our motivation. I got the oriental chicken salad, which was really awkward because our waiter was Asian and I felt be calling it oriental since it is a somewhat inappropriate word.
we also drove past a dilapidated old Victorian house we are kinda interested in buying. it is seriously under priced and has been on the market since winter, which makes me think it is in pretty terrible shape, but I want it anyway. it is so big, much bigger than we could ever afford if it were in suitable shape. also, fixing up a fancy old house is something I have always wanted to do. it looks just like a big haunted house in a scary movie, it is so perfect. it would steampunk up nicely, I think. I am trying not to think about it, but it is very difficult.
in other news, here are some updated pictures of the cucumbers:
aren't they adorable? I am wondering how they will grow into big cucumbers, but I guess time will tell.
