The first week in July is Community Days in Shillington. I've been attending pretty much every day since I was born, even though we didn't always live in the GM school district. It's your basic small town carnival and it ends with what I believe to be the best fireworks display in the entire world. It's kind of a big event in this town. People start claiming their places for the fireworks days in advance. Here are some tiny moments of Americana I captured this year.
My parents always have a Community Days picnic, and this year was no exception. The featured dessert was fruit-shaped cake pops from Kim's Artisan Cakery. They were amazing!
